Good afternoon DOLPHINS! 

The first week of the pool and swim team is almost over! I hope that most of you are already planning on heading over to the rescheduled Memorial Day Party! It's a beautiful afternoon for a free cheeseburger! 

Blair Staruch (mom to Noah & Henry) will be selling NWB Merch at the pool again this afternoon so be sure to find her to get a tee-shirt or a sticker while you're at the party! We take and prefer Venmo! 

Weekly Notes:

• For those of you that couldn't make it to the new parent orientation on Friday - or also for anyone that has questions about the swim team. I uploaded the 2026 NWB Everything You Need to Know Guide HERE on our website. You have to be logged in to view it.

• Time Trials is next Saturday - June 6th in the morning. If you can make it (and you should really try and have your swimmer(s) swim that morning to get timed - PLEASE GO HERE TO RSVP! Bonus if you sign up for a job that morning! YOU HAVE TO RSVP BY WEDNESDAY, June 3rd at 11:59pm. This will always be the deadline for any Saturday morning meet.

• Volunteering at Time Trials is a REALLY good way to try a new job or refresh your memory from jobs you've done in past summer.

• In addition to Time Trials - please do through the meets throughout the summer that are listed HERE and RSVP for them.

• Coach Maddie will send an email with more details closer to Time Trials.

• DOLPHIN BUDDIES - If you want to participate in this, please COMPLETE THIS GOOGLE FORM HERE before Tuesday the 2nd. It's SO SO fun and a great way for swimmers to get to know each other and feel supported all summer.

• Some parents/swimmers bring a gift to the Pep Rally for their Dolphin Buddy - you don't have to do this. I always bring a treat the morning of Time Trials. If your swimmer (especially more sensitive little ones) don't get something on Friday night - it is ok and please reassure them! I will be there on Friday to help and make sure everyone gets introduced! Friday evening is also a good time to find out what your buddy likes so you can be sure to get them cute/fun stuff that appeals to them throughout the summer! Remember: Signs/Posters and small things are PERFECT! No need to go overboard!

• Time Trials Meet THEME - It is COLOR WAR. Each age group has been assigned a color to wear and rep! If you don't know your color - you can find them where you RSVP for Time Trials. Be creative! If you didn't order the themed/branded tee it is totally fine and you should still participate in the theme! Anything goes at NWB and we love to see Dolphin AND age group SPIRIT! PARENTS - I know that you weren't assigned a color - but Norah and I think that WHITE can be the parent color! Let's all come out to cheer on the dolphins next Saturday!

Registration for the Swim Team will CLOSE on Wednesday evening when Time Trials RSVP closes as well. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE PRE-TEAM - that registration will stay open for a few more weeks - don't worry!
